Complete Women’s Care Center started as a dream that I had in 2002 to create a highly service oriented, all female women’s health care environment where you could feel at home and truly cared for. I created the interior design to match our dedication to openness, equality, beauty and compassion. No sliding glass doors at the reception area dividing us and them, no treating patients as “less than” and sitting behind a large and divisive desk. I clearly remember sitting at my kitchen table with my whole office in a single cardboard box, dreaming of what is now CWCC. I had no employees, no patients, no money and no idea about business, but with a big dream and the faith that all things are possible, I am proud to now be the leader of the largest all female OB/GYN group in the country. With 28 (and growing) all female providers and a staff of 120 in 3 Houston locations, we provide a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, including adolescent and menopausal subspecialties, telemedicine, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Connect with CWCC here for all of your obstetric and gynecologic needs.
I founded Complete Women’s Care Center after realizing women deserved a dedicated healthcare professional who was playing a role in all factors of a women’s health, not just physical. Our mission has remained to be a team of dedicated women who embody compassion, integrity, innovation, and a commitment to providing an exceptional experience at every point of contact.
We welcome women of all ages with a warm and caring smile, providing unique, personalized, and state of the art service not typically found in the healthcare industry. In all interactions with our patients, coworkers, and business associates we seek to treat others as we would have them treat us. We have created a beautiful, inviting environment in which to work and care for each other and our patients.
We value patient perception and welcome feedback recognizing that each person is unique and valuable
Few people know that my alternate career choice as a teen was fashion design, and I am a talented seamstress. In high school I designed and made my own clothes and sold them to friends. As a surgeon, I now sew a different fabric, but still love the element of design. I became fascinated with cosmetic gynecology in 2005 and have since focused my surgical practice on this emerging field. In the past 15 years, I have performed hundreds of labiaplasty and vaginoplasty procedures, helping women to feel better about themselves by improving comfort, self-image and sexual function. The part I love the most is helping to design what each individual patient wants and then creating that reality for her. It’s the mixture of art and science that really draws me in. Learn more about cosmetic gynecology here or connect with me if you have questions! I would love to hear from you.
Is one of the most highly experienced cosmetic gynecologists in the country and was the first in Houston to focus in this surgical subspecialty which includes labiaplasty and as well as vaginal rejuvenation.
She has spoken at national conferences on cosmetic gynecologic topics and her opinions have been published in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, as well as being co-author of a landmark study published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. She is an expert in menopausal health and sexuality and is currently involved in a large research project regarding this topic, which will hopefully lead to an important book helping women to navigate this new stage of life while remaining vibrant, connected and sexually satisfied.
In 2018 Dr. Hardwick-Smith was named as “Laureate for Excellence” by vote of the American Board of Gynecologic Surgery. “Three Best Rated.com” named her as one of Houston’s “Top 3 Gynecologists” in 2016 and 2017. She was also honored in H Texas magazine as one of Houston’s “Top Doctors for Women”, as well as Houston’s “Top Doctors” more than 10 times.
Physician of the year
In 2016 she was the only doctor recognized as a Houston “Top Doctor” in Cosmetic Gynecology. In 2013 she was honored by the MGMA (Medical Group Management Association) as their national Physician Executive of the Year.
In December 2006 she was nominated for “Physician of the Year” at Memorial Hermann Hospital and she has received numerous “Patients’ Choice” and “Compassionate Doctor” awards from online patient reviews.
Dr. Hardwick-Smith limits her practice to cosmetic gynecology including labiaplasty and both surgical and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation. When her patients become pregnant or need routine gynecologic care she is happy to refer them to one of the other CWCC physicians.
